This historic manor, established by the de Launcells family after the Norman Conquest, is situated in a peaceful valley just beyond the hill from the charming Market Town of Crediton, and close to the village of Sandford.Combe Lancey is a fully operational farm with sheep and cattle, and can be accessed through its own private roads that wind through its expansive 150-acre meadows. It is located just half a mile away from Crediton, and nearby is the picturesque village of Sandford, boasting delightful old Pubs. The stunning landscape of Dartmoor National Park is easily accessible, and the historic Cathedral City of Exeter is within convenient reach.
The charming accommodation is found within the cob and timbered Linhay, a part of the Listed 15th Century thatched Farmhouse. Guests can enjoy views of the valley from the comfort of their rooms, which are both en-suite. Additionally, there is a separate Breakfast Room, ensuring complete privacy in a comfortable setting.

Directions
To get to Sandford from Crediton, take the road towards Sandford after passing through Crediton. Once you reach the bottom of the hill, look for Creedy Park lodge gate and take the left road leading to Morchard Bishop. After about 400 yards, at the top of the hill, there will be a sharp left lane marked as Public Footpath/Combe Lancey. Follow this lane until you reach the bottom of the valley, then turn right into the courtyard.
If you are coming from Tiverton, enter Crediton and continue past the turn off to Lord’s Leisure Centre and Industrial Estate. Take the first right turn towards Sandford. Similar to the previous directions, leave Crediton at the bottom of the hill, passing through Creedy Park lodge gate and taking the left road to Morchard Bishop. After approximately 400 yards, at the top of the hill, there will be a sharp left lane marked as Public Footpath/Combe Lancey. Follow this lane until you reach the bottom of the valley, then turn right into the courtyard.
