Catherine and Benoit warmly invite you to experience the charm of their beautifully restored traditional stone farmhouse in the Massif des Bornes-Aravis, available to welcome guests throughout the year.

Our cozy establishment features four inviting bedrooms, each equipped with private bathrooms and separate toilets, comfortably accommodating up to three guests (or four in the family room). Additionally, a spacious lounge area awaits, complete with a large table for communal gatherings and a cozy reading corner stocked with a wide selection of books and board games for your enjoyment.

For those seeking a culinary experience, we offer occasional table d'hôte dinners for groups upon reservation.

Located a short distance away, the renowned Col de la Forclaz offers breathtaking views of the pristine waters of Lake Annecy. This mountain pass is a popular destination for paragliders, hang gliders, cyclists, and hikers alike.

Directions

* If you are coming from Annecy, drive along the eastern shore of the lake and pass through Annecy-le-Vieux, Veyrier du Lac, and Menthon St Bernard. After passing Echarvines and before entering Talloires, take the D42 road towards Col de la Forclaz / Montmin. Skip Vérel and continue over the Col de la Forclaz, crossing Montmin Chef-Lieu. After 500 m, at the corner of the Ferriere hamlet, take the small road in the opposite direction towards Montmin Plan.

* If you are coming from Ugine / Albertville, follow the signs for Annecy. Go around Faverges Marlens and stay on the D1508 road, which temporarily becomes a 4-way. At the second roundabout after the end of the 4-way, take the D42 road (1st exit) towards Montmin / Col de la Forclaz. Pass through Vesonne and begin the ascent to Montmin. In the La Ferriere hamlet, take the small road on the right, leading to a hairpin turn towards Plan Montmin.

* Once you are on the communal route to Plan Montmin, follow the road for 1.5 km until you reach the top village of Plan Montmin. Continue through the village and you will reach the bottom of Plan Montmin, just 100 m away. The Chavane, the first house on the left side, is located in front of a meadow where you will spot a small chalet.
