Our room descriptions:1. Chapel Room:
This room is very bright and faces the park and twelfth-century chapel. The walls are coated with natural hemp-lime in a sienna color, and the floor is made of Scots pine treated with organic oils. It features a comfortable double bed (160), a bright bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet.
2. Fountain Room:
The Fountain Room is cozy and spacious, offering a view of the park, the twelfth-century chapel, and the beautiful stone fountain Volvic. The walls are plastered with natural hemp-lime in yellow-orange-ocher-tan colors, and the chestnut floor is treated with organic oils. The room includes a grand central double bed (160), a bright bathroom with a bath, and a separate toilet.
3. Swallows Room:
This room has a spacious "cottage atmosphere" with warm colors and a pine floor treated with organic oils. It features a comfortable double bed (160) with the option to add 1 or 2 extra beds (additional cost of 30 euros per bed, breakfast included). The bathroom includes a large corner bath and a toilet.
4. Serve Room:
The Serve Room is bathed in light pastel shades and offers beautiful views of the Combrailles mountains. The chestnut flooring is treated with hard oils. It includes an "old" 140 bed, a bright bathroom with a shower, and a toilet.
5. Park Room:
The Park Room is very spacious and has an uncluttered atmosphere with jagged lines, overlooking the park and forest. The flooring is made of Scots pine from the country and treated with harsh oils. It features a comfortable double bed (160) with the opportunity to add 1 or 2 extra beds (additional cost of 30 euros per bed, breakfast included). The large bathroom includes a shower and a bath, with a separate toilet.

Our large living room has a fireplace where you can gather with your hosts and enjoy dinner. It emanates a deep serenity that promotes conversation and relaxation. We also have a winter garden with regional tourist documentation for your convenience, and a Natron living area with an African atmosphere for added privacy, complete with a regional library and a cozy fireplace.
Our Immediate Outdoor Area:
We have a huge stone terrace that extends from our house, offering a view of the large park and twelfth-century chapel. Whether you prefer the shade of the great ash tree or a sun lounger, you can enjoy the peace and quiet while being serenaded by birdsong. Our park boasts a wide variety of trees and stone benches, inviting you for a leisurely stroll. Additionally, we have a garden where you can discover our homegrown vegetables and fruits before enjoying them at our dinner table.

Leaving our house, you will find beautiful trails for walking or biking, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the pure and untouched wilderness. We are also located near significant cultural heritage sites, including Thiers, the cutlery capital of the world, VICHY, the queen of city water, Clermont-Ferrand, the regional capital with its volcanic hills, and the AMBERT paper mill.

Surrounded by a serene and well-preserved natural environment, the park lodging offers a tranquil getaway. Conveniently located just 14 km from the A89, 15 minutes from Thiers (renowned as the world capital of cutlery), 30 minutes from Vichy (known as the queen of spas), and 35 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand (the capital of Auvergne), this retreat is an ideal place for relaxation, rejuvenation, and outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking (with trails conveniently passing by the nearby fountain).Our cottage, proudly labeled with 3 ears by Gîtes de France, boasts modern comforts to ensure a pleasant stay. The accommodation features a spacious room with a comfortable 160-bed, as well as another room with a 140-bed and two 90-beds. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, while a toilet is available upstairs and another one on the ground floor, accompanied by a washbasin.
The large kitchen opens onto a stone terrace that overlooks the park and a twelfth-century chapel, creating a picturesque setting. Additionally, the cozy living room is well-appointed with a television, DVD player, and a wood-burning stove that provides a delightful sight of the dancing flames. The use of natural and ecological materials such as wood, stone, old floor tiles, and wall coatings made of hemp and lime in Sienna and Havana colors further enhance the rustic charm of the cottage.

If you are coming from Clermont Ferrand on the A89, take EXIT 29 towards Thiers. After paying the toll, continue straight at the roundabout and follow the signs for VICHY for approximately 7 kilometers. Then, take the direction towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX by turning right at the crossroads onto the D85. After about 500 meters, turn right again onto the D64 towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Along this road, you will pass through the hamlets of Marette and Guesles. After 1.7 kilometers from Guesles, look for the sign for Domaine de Montvianeix and turn left onto the paved road.
If you are coming from Lyon on the A89, take EXIT 30 towards ST REMY DUROLLE. After paying the toll, take the first right towards PALLADUC. In Palladuc, take a left onto the D201 and continue for about 3.3 kilometers towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Then, turn right onto the D64 and always follow the signs for ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Be careful, after 1.2 kilometers from the junction with the D43, stay on the D64 and do not go towards ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Along this road, you will pass through the small hamlet of Fagot. After 1.2 kilometers from the signpost for Domaine de Montvianeix, turn right onto the paved road.
If you are coming from Vichy on the D906, follow the signs for Thiers and continue on the D906, passing through PUY GUILLAUME and PASLIERES. After approximately 2 kilometers, turn left onto the D64 towards ST REMY DUROLLE and ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX, which is about 8 kilometers away. Along this road, you will pass through the hamlets of Marette and Guesles. After 1.7 kilometers from Guesles, leave the D64 by turning left at the signpost for Domaine de Montvianeix and continue on the small paved road.
