Where is Curienne located? Situated at an altitude of 730m, Curienne is nestled 8 km east of Chambéry, within the breathtaking Natural Regional Park of the "Bauges". With its charming population of 640 inhabitants and its majestic mountainous surroundings, tranquility is guaranteed.The accommodation provided:
Your stay will be in a spacious 65m² apartment located on the ground floor of the owner's residence. The apartment features a comfortable 26m² living room comprising a lounge area, dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Additionally, there are two bedrooms offering picturesque views of the mountains, as well as a 7m² bathroom equipped with an Italian shower, designed to cater to the needs of disabled individuals. The interior decor exudes a rustic and warm ambiance, with meticulous attention to detail. For additional sleeping arrangements, two more guests can be accommodated on a bed-settee and a bed-chair in the lounge area. The apartment is equipped with modern conveniences such as a dishwasher, self-cleaning pyrolysis oven, washing machine, and supplied with sheets and blankets. Directions from the North (Annecy, Lyon, Chambéry):
1. If you are coming from the North, take the highway that is indicated as Chambéry-centre, Grenoble.
2. Drive through the Monts tunnel and take the exit labeled sortie n°18 to Albertville on the Massif des Bauges road.
3. Continue along the river for about 1.5km (<1 mile) until you reach a crossroads called Carrefour de la Trousse. Cross over the main road at this point.
4. About 30m after the traffic lights, take a left to Curienne.
5. Follow the main road and go along the river again until you reach Leysse. At the square with the chemist, turn right and then left to Curienne (approximately 6km / 3.7 miles).
6. In Curienne, drive past the church and take a right onto a small road called le chemin de Bellevarde. After 40m, turn right onto a road called le chemin de la Cour.
7. Finally, turn left on the small track in front of a wooden garage. Les Soldanelles is located at the end of the track.
Directions from the South (Grenoble, Albertville):
1. If you are coming from the South, take the exit labeled sortie n°21 Les Marches. Turn right towards Chambéry and follow the road to St Jeoire Prieuré.
2. At the second traffic light (past the Formule 1 hotel), take the road to Chignin and follow the signs for Curienne.
3. In Curienne, pass by the town hall and school and turn left just before the church onto a road called chemin de Bellevarde. Then, turn right onto a road called le chemin de la Cour.
4. Take the first track on the left, and you will find Les Soldanelles at the end of the track.
