Welcome to Domaine de Rhodes, a charming estate located on Barthelasse Island, at the foot of La Cité des Papes. This ancient hunting lodge from the sixteenth century, which once served as a vineyard, exudes the timeless allure of historical homes. A stay at Domaine de Rhodes offers a much-needed respite in a haven of peace.Nestled within a 2-hectare park, we have six holiday rentals awaiting your arrival. The main house houses an apartment for four people, featuring a contemporary design, as well as a studio with charming decorations. Additionally, three cozy cottages and a picturesque gypsy caravan, each accommodating two people, are situated near the swimming pool in the park. These accommodations provide comfort and simplicity, allowing you to immerse yourself in the heart of nature.
Our beautiful and expansive park is adorned with majestic centennial plane, cedar, and pine trees, providing the perfect setting to unwind. During the summer months, our pool offers a refreshing escape from the heat, while various tranquil spots throughout the estate invite you to indulge in siestas, reading, or simply enjoying the serene atmosphere. Nature enthusiasts will be delighted by the fragrant rose bushes, lavender fields, and aromatic plants that surround the property. The sound of birdsong fills the air, offering a symphony of tranquility.

Traveling by car:
If you are coming from Lyon, Marseille, or Nice, take the A7 motorway and exit at Avignon Nord (exit 23). From there, follow the signs to Avignon Centre.
If you are coming from Montpellier, take the A9 motorway and exit at Remoulins (exit 23). Then, follow the signs to Avignon Centre.
Once you are in Avignon Centre, cross the Daladier bridge and the first arm of the Rhône. Turn right towards Barthelasse Island. Be aware that there is a fork in the road - take the second right that leads you down to the Rhône (look for the road sign CD 228). Continue along the main road next to the Rhône for 2 miles until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit and follow the signs for "Domaine de Rhodes" for 2 kilometers.
Traveling by train:
If you are arriving at Avignon TGV station or Avignon Centre station, it will take approximately 15 minutes to reach your destination.
Traveling by plane:
If you are arriving at Avignon Caumont airport, it will take around 25 minutes to reach your destination. If you are arriving at Marseille Provence airport, it will take approximately 1 hour. Finally, if you are arriving at Nice Côte d'Azur airport, it will take about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
