Directions
To reach your destination from Lyon by car, follow these directions: Take either Highway A7 or A46 towards Marseille. Just before reaching Givors, transition onto Highway A47, heading towards St Etienne/Clermont Ferrand. Continue on this road until you reach St Etienne. From there, stay on the National 88 towards Le Puy en Velay, a 2x2 way road. After passing through Monistrol s/loire, travel approximately 6-7 kms and then take the St Maurice exit. Proceed under the N88 to enter St Maurice de Lignons village. Continue straight through the village until you reach the end. Just before exiting, you will come across a parking lot on your right. At this intersection, turn left onto the road towards Maubourg-Les Yverras-Chateau de Maubourg (marked by a steel cross). Stay on this road for about 1 km as it descends into a wooded area and then ascends. Once out of the woods, continue downhill for another 200 meters. At the bottom of the descent, you will see a cluster of stoned houses on your left. Look for La Desirade, a large stoned farm building with a wooden gate. Have a safe journey!
If you prefer to travel by train, take a train to Bas-Monistrol-sur-Loire and then arrange for a taxi to your destination.
For air travel, you can take a flight to either Saint-Etienne or Lyon St-Exupéry airports.
