Directions
To reach St Andre de Chalencon from St Etienne, follow the signs to Le Puy en Velay. Eventually, you will see a road sign indicating Bas en Basset. Take that road and continue until you are near Retournac. After passing the village of Jussac, you will come across a right turn marked Craponne. Take this turn and continue for approximately 5 minutes. Look out for a crossroads after a hamlet called La Baraque, and make a right turn here towards St Andre de Chalencon.
As you approach St Andre from the Laberte river hill, watch for a left turn with a sign that says STADE. Take this turn, and immediately after, at the T junction, make a left. You are now entering Chazelles, and soon you will see a large wall of an annex on your left. Look out for green iron entrance gates shortly after this building on the left. If the gates are closed, please ring the bell on the left by the gates, and we will open them for you.
