Avlon House Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located just a short 5-minute walk (0.5km) north of Carlow Town on the N9, making it the perfect base for exploring the beautiful South East of Ireland. Our bed and breakfast offers 5 tastefully decorated guest rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, traditional furnishings, direct dial telephones, hair dryer, and trouser press. Guests can also enjoy amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities, broadband access, and multi-channel television. To ensure a comfortable stay, we provide complimentary toiletries and mineral water.At Avlon House, we pride ourselves on our services and facilities. Guests can take advantage of our secure parking and relax in our patio area. Our cosy guest lounge, complete with an inviting open fire, provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, breakfast is served in our dining room between 7-10am, offering a full menu that changes with the season, including vegetarian options. Within walking distance, guests will find a variety of restaurants and bars to explore.
Please note that not all of our rooms are suitable for young children, so it is best to inform us in advance. We regret that we do not accept Stag or Hen parties.
