This charming country cottage, approved by "Gite de France" with a 3-star rating, can accommodate up to eight people. The building, made of stone and dating back to the 17th century, has been completely renovated. It is nestled in the tranquil town of St. Margaret of Elle, situated between Bayeux and St Lo. The cottage is conveniently located near the famous landing beaches, the Regional Park of Cotentin and Bessin, and is an ideal base for exploring the Normandy coast and the department of Manche, including the magnificent Bay of Veys and the iconic Mount St. Michel.Surrounded by a large enclosed area, this independent house offers a comfortable and spacious retreat. The ground floor features an inviting entrance, a well-equipped kitchen (25 m2), a spacious living room (40 m2) with sofas and armchairs, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are five bedrooms, including five single beds and two double beds, along with an additional bathroom and two toilets.
The cottage is equipped with modern amenities such as a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer (both indoor and outdoor), wall oven, ceramic hob, and electric heating. Additionally, there is a cozy stove for a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The weekly rates for this cottage are as follows: high season (€550), mid-season (€385), and low season (€290). For shorter stays, the weekend rate is €190 and the midweek rate is €240. Monthly rentals are also possible. Utility charges for water, electricity, and heating are €25 per week during the period from November 1 to April 30, and €15 per week from May 1 to October 31. An additional fee of €10 per week applies for each extra pet.
For your convenience, bed linen and towels can be provided at an additional cost of €10 per person, and a service is available to have the beds made for you. If desired, an end-of-stay cleaning service can be arranged for €35.
