Welcome to our charming gite! On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with gas hot plates, an oven, a dishwasher, and a cozy fireplace insert. The lounge area offers ultimate comfort with its grand standing relaxing chairs, television, bar, and another magnificent fireplace insert. There are also convenient toilets on this level.Moving up to the first floor, you will find more toilets and a bathroom. The first room is a spacious and unique two-level room with a mezzanine. With a total area of approximately 40 sq. m., it is designed to accommodate 4 people and features an individual bathroom with a hydro shower for added luxury. The second room is also a two-level room with a mezzanine, covering about 35 sq. m. and accommodating 4 people. Additionally, there is a small annex apartment that can accommodate another 4 people.
During your stay, we encourage you to explore the nearby villages, where beautiful sculptures called crosses mark the lives of saints who have shaped the history of our region. For more information, you can visit the Community of Common Country Châtenois website. Take the time to discover Neufchâteau, a historic city that has preserved its architectural and artistic heritage, including prestigious churches, medieval statues, a Renaissance town hall, and houses from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Domremy-la-Pucelle, the birthplace of Joan of Arc. You can explore her birthplace and a museum dedicated to her memory. While there, make sure to also visit the Basilica of the Bois Chenu, which was built in the place where Joan heard "her voice".
Another must-see is the Gallo-Roman site of Grand, where you can discover its ancient amphitheater that could accommodate up to 17,000 spectators. One of the largest mosaics of the Roman Empire, covering 224 square meters in one piece, is also a highlight of the site.
