Welcome to our charming accommodation! This cottage offers a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a large living room that includes a cozy lounge area, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom features a refreshing shower, and there is also a separate toilet for your convenience.

Situated on the lower level of a carefully renovated old water mill, this cottage boasts two terraces. One faces south, allowing you to soak up the sun, while the other faces west, offering beautiful sunset views from its elevated position on stilts.

The natural surroundings are truly enchanting, with vast fields and a charming garden where the owner has set aside a designated area for you to relax amidst the lush greenery. You will also find ample parking space near the house.

Despite its peaceful and natural setting, this cottage is conveniently located close to the center of our small town, which is home to approximately 8,000 inhabitants. Within just a 5-minute walk, you will find a variety of shops to cater to your needs.

The town is bordered by a picturesque lake, which serves as a reservoir for a series of historic tannery mills, including our own. This lake offers opportunities for water recreation, fishing, and even boasts a 25-meter swimming pool. Additionally, there are hiking trails that start right in front of the house, allowing you to explore the beautiful surroundings at your leisure.

Directions

Directions to the eco-cottage of Triskel Bertaud, located between Rennes-Nantes (N137) and Vitre-Redon:

- It is a 20-minute drive from the southern entrance to Rennes, which is approximately 30 kilometers away.
- It takes about 50 minutes to reach the cottage from the northern entrance of Nantes, which is approximately 75 kilometers away. The distance from Vitre is also 55 kilometers.
- If you are coming from Redon and La Gacilly, it will take around 40 minutes to cover the 40-kilometer distance.
- The cottage is approximately 1 hour away from Saint-Malo, which is about 100 kilometers away.
- If you are planning to visit Mont Saint-Michel, it will take around 1 hour and 20 minutes to cover the 120-kilometer distance.

Transportation options:
- By train: You can take the TGV from Rennes, which will take around 20 minutes. From there, you can take the TER train to the Messac-Guipry station, which is a 10-minute ride from the cottage.
- By plane: The Rennes (Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande) airport is a 25-minute drive from the cottage. Alternatively, you can fly to Nantes Atlantique Airport, which is approximately 55 minutes away.
- If you prefer to travel by bike or on foot, there are walking paths and MTB/Hybrid routes near the house.

To access the eco-cottage of Triskel Bertaud from the town center, follow these directions:
- Take the D3772 road in the direction of RERC-EN-LAMEE and Pond Bain de Bretagne (east).
- After crossing a bridge, where you will see the pond on your right, take the first left onto Quarries/Bertaud road.
- Continue for a short distance until you see the sign that says "Bertaud." The eco-lodge will be on your left. Welcome!
