Description for B&B:
Located in Montblanc, a large village in the Languedoc region, our home offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Situated just minutes away from the Mediterranean, with the breathtaking mountains and lakes of the Languedoc National Park right on our doorstep, our location is truly idyllic. The history of Montblanc traces back to Roman times, and our beautiful home, constructed with local stone, holds a rich heritage that dates back centuries. While the main frontage of the house was built in the 19th century as a "Maison de Maitre" for a landowner or professional, parts of the house are much older, showcasing the various modifications made over time. It is believed that our house was once the residence of a doctor's family.
We offer a range of accommodations, including apartments, suites, and private rooms, all of which grant access to our gardens and private swimming pool. Additionally, breakfast is included for guests staying in the rooms and suites.
To ensure your utmost comfort, all main rooms and bedrooms are equipped with full air conditioning. In the colder winter weeks, central heating is also available.
Montblanc itself boasts an array of convenient amenities, including two bakeries, a butcher, and a small general store. The friendly local bar/cafe serves delightful meals during lunchtime.
Our home serves as a peaceful oasis amidst the heart of the village, allowing for an authentic French way of life. In the morning, I can take a leisurely stroll to the boulangerie, and the freshly baked bread is still warm when it graces our breakfast table.
Surrounded by a secluded front garden and private terraced gardens at the rear, our house offers a serene ambiance. The securely fenced pool is a delightful feature, accompanied by a spacious sunbathing area for your relaxation.
