Experience breathtaking views of the 'Vallée de la Rotja' from the charming village of Sahorre at our stunning apartment, Belle Vue. With three spacious bedrooms, it can comfortably accommodate up to 9 people, or provide a spacious retreat for a couple seeking extra space. Perfect for a peaceful getaway, this self-catering gîte serves as a comfortable base to explore the beautiful Conflent region of the Pyrénées Orientales, just 15km southwest of Prades.

Located on the second and third floors of a typical Pyrénéan house, Belle Vue offers a separate, private entrance and free reserved parking for your convenience. The second level features a spacious open plan living room, a dining area that can accommodate up to 12 people, and a well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, kettle, cafétière, and toaster, as well as all necessary cutlery, crockery, and cookware. A large breakfast bar connects the dining area and kitchen, allowing for seamless conversation and interaction. The living room boasts a flat-screen satellite TV, a DVD player, and comfortable seating areas. Additionally, there is a full bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, washbasin, and a separate WC, as well as a washing machine and ironing facilities.

On the third (top) floor, you will find the three bedrooms, each capable of accommodating both a double and a single bed. All linen and towels are provided for your convenience. The bathroom on this floor features a WC, washbasin, and a modern shower with body massage jets. With tall windows and ample natural light, the apartment feels spacious, airy, and inviting. Free wifi is available throughout the property.

Outside, Beau Vallon offers the perfect balance of proximity to main centers for festivals, markets, and local shops, while providing a peaceful escape from holiday crowds and bustling traffic. Situated on the edge of the Cerdagne, just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Andorra and 1 hour from the Mediterranean Sea, our rural location offers tranquility, fresh air, and beautiful gardens where you can relax. The shared garden features a range of amenities, including a plunge pool, a heated spa bath in a charming cedar wood chalet, an outdoor 'summer kitchen' with la plancha, barbecues, and a paella cooker. Guests can also enjoy garden games such as badminton and chess, as well as swings, a rope ladder, and a playhouse for children. A boules court (pétanque court) and a table tennis table are also available.

The Vallée de la Rotja, known for its wild trout fishing, is renowned for its local delicacies, including cheeses, honey, saffron, spirulina, charcuterie, apple juice, and various delicious apple varieties. A bakery is conveniently located within walking distance from the property, and excellent local produce can be found at Maison Xifre, a renowned butcher, as well as Madame Soler's cheese shop and Sailly's Cave for wine. There are also several excellent restaurants in the vicinity, one of which is just a 5-minute walk from Belle Vue.

Our location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling, both on and off-road. The area also hosts music festivals, various fêtes, and historical centers worth visiting. And for those who love winter sports, we are just 50 minutes away from some of the best ski resorts in the French Pyrenees.

We warmly welcome families, walking tours, groups, as well as children and pets (additional fee of €8 per night for pets). Our management team values your privacy and aims to provide a quiet and enjoyable stay.

Please note that the minimum rental period is 7 nights during July and August, and 3 nights during the rest of the year. The weekly rental rate is €735 for July and August, and €650 for the rest of the year. A weekly full linen change is included, and we also offer two-week and monthly rental options. An additional cleaning fee of €85 applies at the end of your stay.

Directions

To reach Beau Vallon, follow these revised travel directions: Head towards Andorra on the N116 road, covering a distance of 50km. Once you pass Villefranche de Conflent, make a left turn onto the D6 road. Continue on this road for approximately 7km while keeping an eye out for signs pointing towards Beau Vallon.
