Description:

Description for B&B:

Nestled in the heart of Burgundy, between the vineyards of the Côte d'Or and the natural beauty of Le Morvan, you'll find the charming and picturesque area where Manoir Bonpassage resides. This restored 19th century manor house, owned by Karel & Marja Brummer, offers a unique and character-filled experience on the outskirts of Thury village. With only a short distance of 25 km from Beaune and Autun, you'll be surrounded by cultural and natural wonders.

At Manoir Bonpassage, there are 8 comfortable rooms on the first floor, accommodating 2 to 3 people each. Additionally, there is a spacious room on the ground floor for 2 people, complete with a cozy lounging area and terrace access. All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom and toilet facilities. The manor also features a relaxing lounge, perfect for unwinding after an active day, and a garden terrace where we are delighted to serve a variety of beverages, from small espressos to fine glasses of Burgundy wine. Additionally, guests have access to a refreshing swimming pool.

In our intimate dining room, we offer a quality 'home cooked' dinner upon reservation on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. During the summer months, you have the option to enjoy your meal on the garden terrace, allowing for a delightful dining experience late into the evening.

We are more than happy to assist you in planning your day trips to renowned cultural sites in the Burgundy region, such as the famous Hôtel Dieu in Beaune, the Burgundy vineyards, and the historic towns of Autun and Dijon with their vibrant covered marketplaces. The region is also home to numerous captivating castles, some of which are open for visits. Concerts often take place in historical buildings and old churches, adding to the rich cultural tapestry. For those who appreciate stunning religious architecture, you'll find beautiful Romanesque churches and chapels in the surrounding area, as well as the breathtaking cathedrals of Vézelay and Autun, and the historic Cluny Abbey.
