Description for B&B:

Welcome to our charming Bed & Breakfast located in the Lot department of France. Prepare to be greeted with warmth and hospitality as you arrive at our tranquil retreat.

Situated just a short distance from the delightful old market town of St. Céré, our house is perched high in the hills, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and abundant wildlife. Once a farmhouse passed down through generations of the same family, our home now boasts comfortable newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms, a relaxed dining experience, and a welcoming "home away from home" atmosphere.

Our Guest Book is filled with rave reviews about Alex's evening dinners, which are expertly crafted using local seasonal produce. Vegetarians will be delighted by our imaginative vegetarian options, which have been recognized by the Guardian Newspaper Travel Website as one of the top "veggie friendly" Bed & Breakfasts. One guest even remarked that our lemon tart rivals those found in a patisserie! In addition, we were featured in a best-selling book about running a Bed & Breakfast in France in 2008.

Beyond the comfort of our establishment, the Lot department offers a wealth of beautiful medieval villages and towns waiting to be explored. Nature enthusiasts and hikers will find themselves in paradise, surrounded by picturesque landscapes. For those seeking an active holiday, we offer an independent walking holiday package, allowing you to fully experience the joys of walking in France. Horse-riding, canoeing on the river Dordogne, and cycling on and off-road are also popular activities in the area. And when the summer heat becomes too much, a visit to the nearby Lac du Tolerme, a stunning freshwater lake with its own restaurant and swimming opportunities, is a must.

Within easy reach, you'll find the "Les Plus Beaux Villages De France" of Autoire, Cardaillac, Carennac, Turenne, and Loubressac. Don't miss the charming riverside at Beaulieu sur Dordogne or the breathtaking village of Rocamadour, the second most visited site in France! Figeac with its medieval center and vibrant weekly market is also a must-see. And let's not forget the fascinating cave systems, including the Gouffre de Padirac, as well as the renowned birds of prey centers and the many local festivals and fetes that add to the charm of the Lot department.

In conclusion, our Bed & Breakfast is the perfect destination for a memorable holiday in the stunning Lot department. We invite you to experience the warm hospitality, breathtaking scenery, and delightful activities that await you here.
