Guy Tournoud is delighted to welcome you as friends when you arrive at The House of Fir, a traditional home where wood takes center stage. As you enter, you'll notice that the pine trees grow within the walls of the house, creating a unique and imaginative atmosphere.

Start your day in the dining room, where you'll savor a traditional breakfast featuring organic bread from Fournil the Gragnolet or the local bakery, along with homemade jams and honey sourced from nearby beekeepers.

In the living room, you can cozy up near the fire during chilly spring evenings or the first frost of autumn, finding comfort and relaxation in its warmth.

Surrounded by a picturesque meadow, you can enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the house. Sip on a refreshing drink, immerse yourself in a captivating book, or indulge in a restful nap in the shade of a tree.

Located in the Ecrins National Park at an elevation of 800 meters, Entraigues is a small village nestled between two rivers, The Good and The Malsanne. Its population of 245 residents is divided among three charming hamlets: the Bourg, the Villard, and Gragnolet. In the village, there is a bakery and a butcher shop where you can stock up on supplies for your hikes or picnics. On Friday mornings, a local market offers an array of regional products. The village also provides essential services such as a doctor's office, a gas station, and a supermarket, all located within a 4-kilometer radius.
