Sixt Fer à Cheval is a picturesque village situated near the villages of Samoens, Morillon, and Verchaix in the Valley High Giffre of the Alps. This valley, which lies between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, offers a multitude of attractions.

To reach Sixt Fer à Cheval:

1. If you are coming from Geneva Cointrin Airport or the train station, Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport or the train station, or Annecy train station, head towards the A40 motorway.
2. Take the A40 motorway towards Chamonix and exit at Cluses, following the signs for Morillon Samoens.
3. Once in Morillon, take the D4 main road and continue towards Samoens.
4. In Samoens, take the D907 main road in the direction of Sixt Fer à Cheval.
5. After passing through a vast plain called the plain of Vallon, you will come across a small hamlet named Perret (consisting of three or four houses).
6. After a few turns, you will see a small road on the left, just in front of a chapel. Take this road towards Mount and continue until the end.
7. Along the way, you will pass through a charming village called Balme top and a beautiful forest before reaching Mount, where Sixt Fer à Cheval is located.
