Description for B&B:
Come and experience the high quality of life in our stunning green department with its diverse landscapes! Prepare to be amazed by the ever-changing scenery and the unique architecture of our eco-friendly all-wood igloo house, which was entirely self-built by its owner. Constructed from untreated wood sourced from sustainably managed forests, our house adheres to the highest environmental standards. We have implemented various green initiatives, such as rainwater recovery, thermodynamic water heating, Canadian well ventilation, and a micro-treatment plant. Additionally, we only use eco-friendly cleaning products and practice biodegradable waste separation. We are excited to share our extraordinary concept, as well as our eco-conscious lifestyle choices, with you. We even grow our own vegetables without any chemical treatments, and our organic fruit is used to make homemade apple juice and jams. We offer two comfortable bedrooms on the first floor, each equipped with a 140-sized bed. We can also provide a cot upon request. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. For families with children, we have a separate room on the ground floor.
Adjacent to the bedrooms, we have a mezzanine, lounge, library, and wireless internet access. We invite you to relax and enjoy our spacious living room, which we will gladly share with you. Our house is ideally located on the outskirts of Verdun and the Battle Field, at the foot of the Cotes de Meuse. This area is known for its stunning plum orchards and offers beautiful walks to Lake Madine, Bonzée, and the Mallard. We are also within an hour's drive from Metz, the regional capital of Nancy, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Amnéville, a famous thermal station with a zoo and an indoor ski slope.
During your stay, we can recommend a range of local activities, including a tree climbing park called "Drill-scape," a sensory barefoot path, and superbubbles. You can also enjoy canoeing on the Meuse, cycling on dedicated paths, exploring corn mazes, and immersing yourself in the local culture by visiting museums and experiencing the Sound & Light show "From Flames to Light." Additionally, you can discover the art of pottery in Argonne and visit a factory that produces delicious dragees. We can also introduce you to local products and help you plan other exciting activities.
