Experience a delightful retreat at the charming “Mas des Sources” in the serene hamlet of Le Fayet, nestled in the picturesque village of Sanilhac. Situated halfway between Largentière and Joyeuse, and in close proximity to the stunning Ardèche and Beaume gorges, this idyllic location offers a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty.Perched above the Blajoux valley, the hamlet is surrounded by a majestic pine forest, creating an ideal setting for leisurely strolls amidst unspoiled surroundings. As of July 1st, the owners proudly present two exquisite B&B rooms, providing a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. The spacious suite and the elegant “patio room” are tastefully adorned in soft grey and off-white hues, seamlessly blending with the natural materials and antique furnishings, many of which were discovered at the renowned “Brocante” market in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
Built by the owner, the house showcases an authentic character, evident in the traditional roof tiles, sandstone walls, and floors. Filled with natural light, courtesy of its sliding glass doors, the house exudes warmth and serenity. The ground floor rooms feature whitewashed walls, complemented by antique furniture with a refined white and grey finish. Adorned with linen curtains sourced from the Brocante in Beaucaire, the windows add an elegant touch to the rooms.
The spacious suite, spanning 50 m², boasts a private entrance and showcases a natural stone floor and wooden ceiling beams. Sunlight filters through the large glass doors, opening onto an indoor patio and a covered terrace. Complete with a queen-size bed, a bathroom, and a stove, this room exudes a charming countryside charm, accentuated by its beautiful antique pieces.
The standard room, covering 30 m², invites guests to relax in its serene ambiance adorned with a delightful blend of white, off-white, and grey tones. Two large glass doors open onto an indoor patio, while the room features a comfortable double bed and a well-appointed bathroom with a shower. Indulge in the southern sun on the terrace, featuring a natural spring water pool, or find solace beneath the fragrant linden tree in the garden. Alternatively, unwind by the swimming pool or in the sauna, and let your worries melt away.

Welcome to Le Fayet, an idyllic village in the heart of southern Ardèche. Our charming and character-filled houses are the perfect destination for a romantic vacation.Le Fayet is a historic village that was once bustling with chestnut and silk producers, giving it a unique and authentic atmosphere.
Each of our houses has been tastefully renovated, preserving their original style while providing modern amenities. The kitchens are fully equipped, but if you prefer dining out, there are restaurants within a short drive of 5 to 30 minutes.
For your convenience, shopping can be done within 10 minutes in the medieval village of Largentière. Our environment is child-friendly, and we happily welcome pets.
During your stay, you can enjoy our beautiful swimming pool, sauna, and steam room exclusively for Fayet guests. If you're looking for a refreshing swim, the Beaume river is only 20 minutes away.

Les photos et la description des lieux avaient déjà suscitées mon envie de découvrir ce lieu. Une fois sur place, j'ai réalisé à quel point le Domaine du Fayet est vraiment magique !! Niché au coeur de la nature dans un petit coin perdu, on ne s'attend pas à trouver un hameau aussi charmant, avec des batisses dont l'authenticité a été parfaitement conservée. C'est justement l'aspect "comme chez soit" qui est fort appréciable. Vous n'aurez pas la sensation de séjourner dans une sorte de complexe aménagé pour touristes. Se promener dans le domaine est féérique avec ses bassins d'eau, ses jardins de fleurs de rocailles, ses arbres fruitiers, ses plantes aromatiques pour sublimer vos plats ou boissons et ses petites ruelles. C'est un endroit paisible pour se détendre et il y a le choix : à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur vous trouverez votre bonheur (terrasses, piscine, sauna, bains de soleil côté piscine ou côté jardin privatif). Le terrain de pétanque, est situé en haut du hameau et offre une vue imprenable sur le domaine. Vous pourrez vous installez sous le cerisier pour contempler le coucher du soleil. Si vous aimez l'ancien et la nature, c'est l'endroit idéal et pour moi, c'est un luxe assez rare de nos jours l!! Le Domaine du Fayet est un havre de Paix et un petit coin de Paradis.
