This is a description of a 15th century rural house located in the valley of the Besbre - Sologne Bourbonnaise. The house features a traditional bread oven and fireplace, as well as a wall construction made of wooden beams filled with a mixture of mud and straw on a stonewall plinth. Additionally, there is a newer masonry building that serves as an ensuite bathroom sheepfold. The restoration of the house has been carried out by local craftsmen using traditional techniques, while also incorporating some modern comforts. The accommodation can sleep up to four people in four single beds. The house is conveniently located just 300 meters away from the Sculpture Park Erich Engelbrecht, also known as the Château des Fougis. Guests staying at the house can enjoy free access to the sculpture park.

- Ground floor: Cozy living room with a fireplace and a traditional bread oven. Spacious kitchen with a dining area.
- Upstairs: Bedroom with two single beds, a mezzanine with two single beds. The twin beds can be combined to create double beds in both the bedroom and the mezzanine.
- The bathroom is located in a separate building accessible only from the outside (please refer to the photos).

Outside, you will find a beautiful lawn and a large wooden table perfect for enjoying outdoor meals.

This charming gite provides a relaxing atmosphere, free from the distractions of television and internet. It offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and indulge in a good book during your vacation.

Parking is available on the property. Guests can also enjoy access to a tennis court and table tennis facilities. There is a private pond on-site that is open for swimming. Additionally, various hiking trails, canoeing, karting, quad biking, and other sports activities are available nearby.

A weekly set of towels and bed linen is included in the rental price.

- From October to April, there is an additional fee for electricity based on actual consumption (measured by an ERDF power meter).
- Cleaning fee: 50.00 EUR
