"Les Hauts de Chaumont" is a historic wine grower's house dating back to 1880. Over the years, it has been gradually renovated and is now open to guests year-round, providing an opportunity to discover or rediscover the cultural richness of the Val de Loire region, its gastronomy, and its picturesque landscapes.Upon arrival, you will find convenient and secure parking available in the courtyard. Cyclists can store their bikes in the garage. The bedrooms, all located on the first floor, are equipped with private bathrooms and toilets.
Guests can relax in the spacious lounge, where breakfast is served each morning. A kitchenette is also provided, equipped with a microwave and fridge, allowing for small dinners or drinks.
All the rooms were renovated in 2011 and feature flat-screen TVs and free WIFI. Additionally, since June 2011, we have introduced a new holiday cottage with a modern design. This cottage, which can accommodate 6 to 8 people, is air-conditioned and located near the swimming pool.
During the summer, you can enjoy dining in the garden, close to the barbecue and swimming pool. The expansive 3000 m² garden offers various corners where you can relax, have drinks with friends or family, or simply enjoy reading a book while listening to the melodies of birdsong.
Children will find pleasure in the large playground area at the back of the garden, featuring swings and a slide. With a bit of luck and patience, you may even catch a glimpse of our resident squirrel and the woodpecker couple.
The swimming pool, measuring 10 meters by 5 meters with a depth of 2.30 meters, is completely enclosed and locked for safety. While it is graciously provided for your enjoyment, it is important to note that its use is entirely at your own responsibility, and you will be given a set of rules upon arrival.
To enhance your relaxation, deckchairs are available, and we can provide bath towels for your convenience.

Perfect for accommodating 6 to 8 individuals, this air-conditioned cottage is conveniently situated in close proximity to the refreshing swimming pool. Embracing a concept of spaciousness and luminosity, the interior boasts a remarkable level of comfort, ensuring an enjoyable stay. - Once you reach Onzain, cross the Loire river to reach Chaumont sur Loire.
- After crossing the river, make a right turn towards the village.
- At the traffic lights, make a left turn towards Montrichard.
- After driving 100 meters, you will reach the end of a slope. Make a right turn onto the second street, and continue to the primary school.
- Once you reach the primary school, make a right turn.
- Look out for the signboard, as "Les Hauts de Chaumont" will be the first property on your left at the beginning of the street.
