La Maison de Marie is a charming half-timbered house built in 1843. It boasts a serene garden where guests can unwind and enjoy a peaceful reading or leisurely rest. During the summer, the garden is complemented by an orchard, adding to its beauty.The accommodation is divided into two separate units. The first unit, called "The Sequence," is located on the upper floor of the house. It features a spacious lounge/library with a billiards table. Connected to this area are two bedrooms: one for two people with a comfortable queen-sized bed (160x200), and another for three people with three single beds (90x190). Additionally, there is a bathroom with a shower and sink, cleverly built within an old stove, and a separate toilet area. The entrance to this unit is through an independent staircase, which leads to a lovely flower garden that is completely enclosed. Each room in this unit is equipped with a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. Furthermore, the suite also includes a microwave, and a baby cot can be provided upon request. Parking facilities are available for both cars and bicycles.
The second unit, known as "The Chamber of the Bread Oven," is situated around the house's original oven. On the ground floor, guests will find a cozy lounge area and a bathroom complete with a shower and toilet. Upstairs, there is a bedroom suitable for three people, featuring a queen-sized bed (160x200) and an additional single bed. A mezzanine area also serves as a library corner, perfect for relaxation. Access to this unit is through the garden. Similar to the first unit, a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station are provided in the room.
