The Bear Quilt is a charming guest room labeled 5 épis, nestled in a 1-hectare garden in the village of Awan Aywaille, conveniently located between Liege, Spa, and Durbuy. The property offers well-lit and private parking, access, terraces, and gardens.

Recently renovated with a focus on ecological principles and materials such as hemp, cork, clay, wood, and cellulose, this spacious 133 m2 accommodation boasts a 19 m2 bedroom with a view of the garden and an indoor swimming pool. The pool, heated with thermal panels, maintains a cozy temperature of 27-28 °C in winter and 30 °C in summer. The Quilt of Bear also features a shower, a separate toilet, a bathroom, a 29 m2 living/dining room, and a library/TV room that can be used as an additional bedroom for two children.

We offer a special pricing formula for businessmen or representatives staying from Monday to Friday morning.

Great attention has been given to creating a warm atmosphere with wood and linen fabrics, carpets, numerous cushions, and comfortable duvets filled with either duvets or buckwheat husks. Indirect lighting, thermal insulation, and quality sound contribute to the overall comfort. If you love the decoration, furniture, and bedding, you can inquire about ordering them at an attractive rate.

Start your day with a substantial and locally-sourced breakfast, including dairy and meat products from the Ardennes, Liège specialties, homemade jams, organic breads, fresh juice, and a selection of teas, honeys, and coffees. At other times, our in-house oenologist will offer local ales and a curated selection of wines.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy during your stay. Take a walk along the water, exploring the streams of Chefna and Ninglinspo, as well as the valleys of Ourthe and Amblève. Visit the beaver site, experience the deer season, or explore castles, ruins, and museums. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby Liège-Bastogne-Liège cycling routes, as well as the various golf courses in the area (Gomzé, Durbuy, Liège Sart-Tilman, Bernalmont).
