Chatellerault is conveniently situated for both short and long trips. Just one hour and twenty minutes away from Paris by TGV or three hours by highway, it is also within a twenty-minute drive to attractions such as Futuroscope, the thermal hydrotherapy center of La Roche-Posay, the medieval castle "Chateau des Aigles" in Chauvigny with its eagle shows, and the stunning Golf of St Cyr overlooking a beautiful lake. Additionally, many of the famous Renaissance-style castles of the Loire Valley, including Chambord, Chenonceau, and Amboise, are within a one to one and a half hour drive.
