Located between Provence and Cévennes, near the Ardeche Gorges, our establishment offers an ideal climate for a relaxing holiday or a comfortable stay. Situated in the charming village of BARJAC, which is labeled as a "Character Village", we invite singles, couples, and friends to stay at OUSTAU The MULBERRY for two, three, or more nights.Housed in an authentic 18th-century farmhouse, our bed and breakfast welcomes you with a beautifully furnished garden and outdoor seating. We aim to provide a simple and friendly environment, treating our guests like friends. Our three non-smoking bedrooms are located upstairs and are tastefully decorated, each named after a tree from the Moraceae family.
- White Mulberry: Room with three beds measuring 90 x 200 cm.
- Breadfruit: Room with one bed measuring 160 x 200 cm.
- Fig Tree Banyan: Room with two beds measuring 90 x 200 cm.
Shared facilities include:
- Bathroom with a bathtub, sink, and toilet.
- Bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
Breakfast is included and can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the dining room. We are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements upon request. On select nights, we offer a host table where you can savor Southern cuisine made with fresh seasonal ingredients. Reservations are required. For other nights, we can recommend several good restaurants in Barjac and its surroundings based on your preferences and budget.
We also offer the option of ordering meal trays with advanced reservation.
Free WiFi is available, and our establishment features a library with a fireplace in the stone salon where you can relax by the fire, read a book, or enjoy board games at your disposal.
Linen is provided free of charge, and parking is available nearby. Please note that we are unable to accommodate any pets other than our small dog who is a part of our daily life.
Within a few minutes' walk from the farmhouse, you will find a market, supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, and bicycle rental. Additionally, there are restaurants, fairs, flea markets, attics, libraries, and castle festivals to explore in Barjac. It is a picturesque town perfect for leisurely strolls.

Directions
To reach Barjac from the North, take exit (19) Bollene on the A7 motorway and follow the signs for Pont-Saint-Esprit and Barjac.
If you are coming from the South, exit Remoulins on the A9 motorway and head towards Uzès, Allegre les Fumades, and finally Barjac.
Alternatively, you can take the A7 motorway and exit at Avignon or Orange. Follow the signs for Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Barjac.
Once you arrive in Barjac, at the roundabout of "Cicada," take the direction of the city center (D901).
You will find the pottery and pharmacy on your left before reaching your destination.
If you prefer to travel by train, the main stations to consider are Avignon, Nimes, and Ales.
For those arriving by plane, the nearest airports are Avignon, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, and Ales.
