La Source du Vallon is a delightful accommodation in Aveyron, offering four spacious and uniquely designed bedrooms in the charming village of Salles la Source. This village is home to around 2000 inhabitants and covers an impressive area of 7,800 hectares.Strategically situated between Conques and Rodez, our house provides easy access to the wonders of both locations. Conques, a mere 25km away, is renowned as one of the most beautiful villages in France. It boasts an awe-inspiring abbey and mesmerizing stained glass windows created by Soulages. Rodez, just 11km from our property, is a land of art and history, featuring numerous monuments and sites. The magnificent Gothic cathedral and its museums, including the Soulages, Denys Puech, and Fenaille, are must-see attractions.
Before reaching Conques, we recommend a stop in Marcillac on Sunday mornings to experience the vibrant market and indulge in the world's finest ham, crafted by Philippe Da Silva.
During the summer months, guests can unwind in our 600m2 garden, immersing themselves in the breathtaking view. In winter, the cozy lounge with a crackling fireplace provides the perfect setting for relaxation. Our courtyard and terrace overlook the flourishing garden, revealing panoramic vistas of the valley. The soothing sound of the river, Le Créneau, flowing from the Grande Cascade, further enhances the tranquil ambiance.

Bravo pour l'accueil
Nous avons passé deux nuits chez vous en cette fin du mois d'avril 2018 et nous sommes ravis. Accueil chaleureux, chambre et literie confortable (la cascade), petit déjeuner de qualité, repas avec des produits locaux succulents. Sans oublier le beau village! Merci.

une adresse à retenir et à suivre
Un séjour Aveyronnais très agréable, en grande partie grâce au séjour (4 nuits) passé dans cet ancien hôtel-bar rénové avec beaucoup de goût. Chambres spacieuses, petits déjeuners copieux et accueil très sympa. Le village est à découvrir ainsi que les alentours, superbes ballades et surtout, profitez du coucher de soleil dans le jardin avec un verre de bon vin et quelques morceaux de fromage aveyronnais !! Longue vie à la source du vallon.

7 personnes au début mai 2016, 2 nuits, un passage en famille chez Caroline. Nous avons apprécié les chambres, les grandes salles de bains, la bonne literie, et l'accueil sympathique. ! Bons petits déjeuners, repas recherché, nous étions ravis. ! Un lieu à recommander vivement!
