Nestled in a peaceful hamlet near the picturesque river Vienne, it is situated in the heart of the serene Charente countryside. This idyllic region is renowned for its rolling landscapes, enchanting villages, and medieval chateaux.

The Charente region offers an authentic slice of traditional French life, where the pace of life is leisurely. Join the locals for a relaxed glass of pineau, a delicious blend of local wine fortified with cognac, and observe the world go by.

For those seeking a slightly more active holiday, there are numerous options for day trips to suit all ages and interests. Explore beautiful old towns such as Confolens, Angouleme, and Cognac, renowned for its famous cognac houses. Take pleasure in the rolling countryside, stunning rivers with kayaking opportunities, and darkly wooded forests with walking and cycling trails, perfect for exploration.

Take a refreshing swim in the Charente lakes, many of which boast lifeguard supervision and beachside facilities. Additionally, indulge in visits to golf courses, chateaux, zoos, and Roman villas - two weeks will simply not be enough to fully experience all the region has to offer!
