We stayed at chambre d'hote Maison Vignolo for one night in Oct 2013. Lovely and exuberant Nicole with her small farm of gavarged ducks was a wonderful hostess. Her greeting was very warm and sincere; and we had a glass of wine together. Our top floor room (although many stairs to carry your luggage) was large and pleasant with a view to the Pyrenees in the distance. The bathroom was large. The double bed was comfortable with good linens, and there were also two single beds in the room. The table d'hote was served at 7pm and took two hours. The food was good and plentiful, the duck excellent - she could easily cut back on the portions and/or courses. Even though it was good, I could only eat half. The house was quiet at night for sleeping. The breakfast was lovely - Nicole made us a huge plate of fresh crepes with her own little secret ingredient which we loved. We had limited French but Nicole made us feel very welcome and was more than willing to converse with us, and pleasantly, too. We would stay with Nicole again and would recommend it, too.
