Description for B&B:
Capacity: This accommodation can accommodate up to 12 people, with three furnished lodges available for 2, 4, and 6 people respectively.Located in the heart of Lens, a mining town, these flats are not your typical accommodations. They are eco-lodges, reflecting our commitment to sustainable development, mining heritage, and regional identity. This project, born out of a family discussion several years ago, celebrates the essential richness of our region, particularly the mining area and its history.
Crafted exclusively by local artisans, these eco-lodges offer all the modern comforts one would expect, including toilets powered by rainwater recovery tanks, showers, kitchenettes, TVs, and free WiFi. They are designed to cater to a diverse range of guests, whether families, couples, or business travelers.
One of the lodges even features a roof terrace, offering breathtaking views of the twin heaps of 11/19 and the lantern tower of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette.
To enhance the guest experience, we have also set up a local home where guests can access breakfast baskets, snacks, and meals made from regional products. We also provide all the necessary tourist information to make your stay more enjoyable.
On some weekends, we organize tours of the mining town and the nearby 11/19 site.
LEcole Buissonnière is a truly remarkable place, a haven of tranquility where time seems to stand still. It allows you to connect with the past while embracing the future through its thoughtful design and amenities.
