Description:

Description for B&B:

This farm, constructed in the 19th century, was a prominent location for successful horse breeding until around 1970. It also served as a hub for equine business and provided housing for workers. Today, three of the houses have been converted into breeding facilities, known as "Estuary," "Médoquine," and "Gironde." The property has undergone renovations to preserve its charming and rural character. Situated on 13 acres of meadow, on the outskirts of town, the farm offers a natural and serene atmosphere. Many have been drawn to our lifestyle and land, and now it's your turn to experience it.

We have three guest houses and two beautiful rooms available for your stay, accommodating up to 25 people. Located just 8 km from stunning beaches and 3 km from the estuary, we are situated in the heart of the northern Médoc, an area referred to as the "Petite Camargue" due to its resemblance to the famous wetlands. Our meadow is home to our playful donkeys, adorable pygmy goats, ponies, and other friendly farm animals.

Come and find happiness in our tranquil surroundings!

Appréciations pour Ferme du Marais, Saint Vivien de Médoc:

Ferme du Marais - gite Margaux
Review by: Georges B., Mai 11 2016 4:22PM
Super gîte: propreté, déco, tout équipé même les allumettes pour le barbecue; très spacieux même à 10 personnes; les enfants ont appréciés les animaux. Sans oublier la gentillesse des propriétaires. Bravo
