Welcome to La Petite Vallée, our charming new cottage located in the beautiful Black Perigord. Xabi, Elise, and their children are excited to introduce you to this wonderful property.Situated just 1.5 km from the village of Rouffignac St Cernin, La Petite Vallée serves as an ideal base for exploring the stunning sites of the Périgord region. With its 1,600 inhabitants, Rouffignac St Cernin offers all the necessary amenities including a supermarket, ATM, service station, hairdressers, bars, restaurants, post office, and a Sunday market. You'll also enjoy the peaceful ambiance of our 5-acre wooded surroundings, boasting a magnificent view.
The cottage itself is well-equipped and comfortable. On the ground floor, you'll find a spacious kitchen, a cozy lounge/dining room with an office area and internet access (computer not provided), a flat-screen TV, and a DVD player. Additionally, there is a large bedroom with a 140cm bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms. The first bedroom features a 140cm bed, while the second bedroom offers a 140cm bed and a 90cm bed. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub and another separate toilet. In total, the cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people. We provide all necessary bed linen, towels, shower mats, and kitchen towels for your convenience.
Outside, you can relax on your private terrace by the heated swimming pool and enjoy meals under the covered porch, where a fantastic WEBER barbecue awaits you. We also offer baby equipment such as a high chair, changing mat, cot, high trek stroller, and park, on loan for your little ones.
La Petite Vallée is conveniently located near various attractions. The nearest supermarket, petrol station, doctors, and pharmacy are just 2 km away. Les Eyzies, famous for its prehistoric sites, is 16 km away, while the Marterie Golf Course is only 11 km away. Périgueux, the capital of the region, is 30 km away, and the picturesque town of Sarlat is 35 km away. The renowned Lascaux caves in Montignac are just 21 km away, and the beautiful Dordogne River is 35 km away.
During your stay, don't miss out on visiting the Rouffignac Cave, exploring the local market held on Sundays, discovering the historical Roque St Christophe, and marveling at the Lascaux cave paintings.
