Casa Migliaca is situated near the northern coast of Sicily, just a short distance from Cefalù. It is nestled between the Nebrodi Mountains and the Madonie mountains. Perched on a hill, the house offers breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Nebrodi woods. Originally built in the 17th century as an oil mill, Casa Migliaca has now been transformed into a cozy and welcoming accommodation. The atmosphere here is relaxed and informal, with dinner being enjoyed together at a large round table that was once used to press olives. Breakfast is a leisurely affair, with no time restrictions, and guests can help themselves in the ancient kitchen on the first floor. There are a total of eight rooms available, each with its own unique charm. The rooms on the first floor are adorned with antique furniture, while those on the ground level retain the original features of the oil mill. The preserved artifacts, such as the silted jar, the small palmento, and the chestnut mezzanine, serve as reminders of the building's rich history. While the bathrooms are small, they are functional and maintain the integrity of the original architecture. The main building is surrounded by a 12-hectare active farm that produces olive oil and citrus fruits.
