Restored to its former glory, this 18th-century silk house is located in the charming hamlet of Chabanne, near Chirols Vals les Bains, Antraigues, and Aubenas. Combining traditional character with a contemporary touch, this stone house showcases old chestnut beams, stone windows, and antique furniture, along with modern features such as polished concrete floors, a metal staircase, and aluminum door frames.With a capacity to accommodate up to 5 people, the 70 m2 cottage offers two bedrooms. One bedroom features a double bed (140cm), while the other has twin beds (90cm). The main floor boasts a walk-in shower and a lava stone sink, accessible from both bedrooms.
The cottage includes a cozy living room with a high ceiling, flooded with natural light thanks to a large bay window that overlooks the terrace. Equipped with a kitchenette and a living area with a flat-screen TV, the living room opens up to the kitchen, which is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and dishwasher.
An iron staircase leads to a bridge with a relaxation area and a private terrace of 40 m2, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, including the 3 valleys and mountains of Tanargue. The outdoor space is furnished with a table, lounge chairs, an electric barbecue, and an old stone sink.
The cottage is conveniently located near rivers, such as the Ardèche, Fontaulière, and Bourges, which provide beautiful spots for swimming and fishing.
Additional information:
- Private parking is available in front of the house.
- Rentals are available from Saturday to Saturday.
- Pets are allowed with prior agreement at a charge of 50€ per week.
- Tourist tax of 0.80€ per day per person over 18 years applies.
- Optional "household tranquility" service is available for 60€, allowing you to enjoy your holiday without worrying about the final cleaning.
