Welcome to our 19th century house, situated on a medieval site, where we have tastefully renovated bedrooms since 2017 to provide you with utmost comfort.Each of our bedrooms is furnished with a double bed (160x200) and 1 to 3 single beds, along with a private bathroom and separate toilet. From these rooms, you can indulge in breathtaking views of the Agen countryside, all while being conveniently located less than 15 minutes away from the center of Agen. Additionally, the Sainte Marie de la Garde Monastery is just a short 5-minute walk away.
As a family with three children, we have made sure that our house is child-friendly, offering various activities such as walks, egg hunts in the chicken coop, and swimming in our pool, which are all part of our daily routine.
Included in the price of the rooms, we provide a delicious breakfast served in our dining room, featuring local and homemade seasonal products.
Having deep roots in the Agenais region and a strong passion for local culture and history, we are more than happy to share our knowledge and recommendations for exploring the Lot and Garonnais area.
Here are our rates:
- 50 per room per night, with an additional charge of 10 per extra person (children in travel cots stay for free).
- In July and August, the rate is 60 per room per night, with the same additional charge for extra persons (children in travel cots stay for free).
While we do not offer dining services, we do provide a catering service.
We are pet-friendly, allowing animals as long as they do not climb on the beds and can coexist peacefully with our cats and chickens.
Description for Gite
Each room in our charming gite has been carefully decorated to reflect the historical significance of the site. The spacious rooms, ranging from 20 to 25 square meters, are equipped with a toilet, a separate bathroom, and ample storage space. If needed, we can provide an additional bed for children or babies, and our accommodations are well-equipped to cater to the needs of young children. Each room is thoughtfully furnished with a comfortable 160 x 200 bed, complete with high-quality sheets. Additionally, you will find between 1 and 3 beds measuring 90 x 200, convenient tables and bedside lamps, as well as a kettle and a delightful assortment of teas. Accueil très chaleureux. Couple et enfants charmants. Chambre impeccable, très propre, joliment décorée. Repas et PDJ excellents et très bons. Cadre bucolique et calme. A recommander absolument !!! Tellement subjugués, nous avons réglé un peu plus que le prix initial !!!

If you are coming from Toulouse via the highway, take the exit at Valence d'Agen and then follow the signs for Agen. Once you reach Agen, turn right onto the Lamartines road and head towards Bon Encontre. From there, follow the instructions provided below.
If you are coming from Agen, go in the direction of Toulouse and then turn left onto the Lamartines road towards Bon Encontre. From there, follow the instructions provided below.
Starting from Bon Encontre (Lamartines road), turn right at the roundabout and continue on D269, passing through Saint Amans. Keep following the road and follow the signs for "SAINTE MARIE DE LAGARDE". After passing the monastery, continue on the road for 500 meters and you will find the guest house on the left side, just after a road junction.
