Description for B&B:
I am a historic house that has been renovated in 2016/17 to provide all the necessary comforts. Located in a peaceful and green environment, I offer a safe haven where your children and pets can play happily without the worry of having a grumpy neighbor or being near a busy road. Despite this tranquility, I am not isolated from the center of the small village, which has amenities such as a bakery/pastry shop, a small grocery store, and a café-restaurant. For additional shopping options, there are larger supermarkets in Corlay (4.5kms away), Saint-Nicolas du Pélem (9kms away), Rostrenen, and Pontivy. Moreover, I am conveniently situated only 40 minutes away from the beautiful bay of Saint-Brieuc and its beaches.Inside the house, you will find a spacious ground floor with a large living room and lounge area of 50m2, complete with a sofa bed. The American kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and there is even a salamander to provide warmth on chilly evenings (wood is provided). Additionally, there is a bathroom/laundry room and a separate toilet on the ground floor.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a large bed (160x200) and a child bed (70x145), while the other bedroom has a double bed (140x190) and a single bed (90x190). There is also an alcove with another single bed. The upstairs area also includes a shower and toilet. The entire house was completely renovated in 2016, ensuring that you will have all the necessary comforts for a delightful holiday. You can even listen to your favorite 33 rpm records on the stereo system provided.
Outside, you can enjoy barbecuing on the vertical barbecue/rotisserie, which is not only delicious but also healthier. Please note that the house has a septic tank, which is common in rural areas. To preserve the ecosystem, it is important to avoid using any chemicals (such as bleach) that are not compatible with septic tanks and to refrain from flushing them down the toilet (cleaning products compatible with septic tanks are provided).
For the safety of your children, the staircase is secured both upstairs and downstairs. In the garden, you will find badminton, table football, and a swing to keep everyone entertained.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a friendly and helpful young woman who can assist with the check-in process and cleaning if you prefer not to do it yourself (hourly rate of 15€). The deposit will be fully refunded upon your departure if everything is in order.
