Welcome to the Bed and Breakfast at The Chalets of the High Colony Barn. Our location in Château-lEvêque, between Périgueux and Brantôme, direction Angoulème, offers a serene setting on the edge of the forest.We have two charming cottages that have been converted into comfortable bed and breakfast accommodations. The Périgord Purple cottage is perfect for a couple or a couple with a child, featuring a small mezzanine. It includes a bathroom with a shower (90x90) and toilet. The Périgord Vert chalet is ideal for a couple, with a bathroom that includes a shower (80x80) and toilet.
Each cottage is equipped with toiletries and a kettle with a selection of hot drink options. Enjoy the small terrace in front of each cottage, complete with table and chairs.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast served in the dining room or on the terrace of our house. Indulge in homemade specialties, fresh fruit salad, bread, and a variety of jams.
Stay connected with free WiFi access throughout the property. We also accept pets under certain conditions.
Explore the surrounding nature and hiking trails, or visit nearby tourist sites such as Brantôme, Bourdeille, and Grotte de Villars, all within a 20km radius.
The price for the Périgord Purple cottage is 75€ per night, with an additional 15€ for a child. For stays of 3 nights or more, the rate is reduced to 72€ per night, including breakfast for two people. The price for the Périgord Vert chalet is 72€ per night, including breakfast for two people. Please note that a tourist tax of 0.83€ per person and per night applies.

Directions
If you are coming from Périgueux, stay on the right side of the radar and take the right turn at the bifurcation. This road cuts through the departmental road. Continue straight until you reach the top, where you will find three small roads. Take the middle road indicated by the sign for "high coly" and continue straight until you reach a restored barn.
If you are coming from Angoulème, in the village of Château-l'Evêque, take the road that leads to the castle. Pass in front of the church and the entrance of the castle, then take the first left turn. Continue straight until you reach the top, where you will find a small road on the right called "coly high." Follow this road as it climbs up until you see a sign indicating a barn.
