The Saintecroix house features three double bedrooms with unique characteristics and stunning views.Firstly, we have La Chapelle, a charming bedroom with a double bed and beautiful exposed beams. From this room, you can enjoy views of the front garden, the river, and the 12th Century Abbey Chapel of Sainte Croix. It also offers the convenience of an en-suite shower room with a WC, overlooking the garden and swimming pool.
Next is Les Poutres, a character-filled bedroom with a double bed and an additional single bed if needed. This room is adorned with numerous beams and offers a side view of the house. The en-suite shower room with a WC allows you to enjoy views of the front of the house, the river, and the 12th Century Abbey Chapel of Sainte Croix.
Lastly, we have La Voliere, a spacious bedroom with a double bed and an optional extra single bed. This room boasts a grandeur with its high ceilings and numerous beams. The en-suite shower room with a WC provides all the necessary comforts. Additionally, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the river, Ville Haute, and the medieval Chateau from this room.

Excellent souvenir de mon passage à "Sainte-Croix" avec 4 amis randonneurs. Très chaleureux accueil de Nicole & John passionnés de leur village d'adoption (et d'origine pour Nicole) Angles sur Anglin.
Très bonne qualité d'hébergement avec un plus pour la piscine mise à disposition et le charmant petit-déjeuner pris sur la terrasse avant de continuer notre chemin ..

Angles-sur-LAnglin is a village located in Central France. It is situated approximately halfway between La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast, about 150 kms inland, and Poitiers, which is about 45 kms to the North-East. Tours is located around 100 kms to the North-West. To reach Angles-sur-LAnglin, you can take the A10 Autoroute and exit at Chatellerault-Nord, which is about 30 kms to the west. Alternatively, you can take the A20 Autoroute and exit at 15, north of Argenton-sur-Creuse, which is about 60 kms to the east.
If you prefer to travel by air, Poitiers has an International Airport called Poitiers Biard. It offers daily flights from London Stansted with Ryanair, as well as daily connections to the Air France regional hub at Lyon, which provides onward worldwide connections via Paris. Tours also has an International Airport called Tours Val de Loire, with daily flights from London Stansted with Ryanair.
For those traveling by train, Poitiers is conveniently located on the main TGV train line that runs from Paris to Bordeaux. There are direct connections from the London Eurostar at Lille, with daily trains straight through to Poitiers. The Lille TGV also stops at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, allowing for easy onward connections to regional UK and other international destinations. Please note that Chatellerault railway station is closer to Angles-sur-LAnglin than Poitiers, but it has fewer stopping trains.
If you are traveling by car, Sainte Croix, where we are located, is near the river in the Ville Basse. As you exit the bridge coming from the village centre, it will be immediately on your right. We are situated opposite the Abbey Church of Sainte Croix.
