Description for B&B:
The Château de Jonquières offers four charming and unique guestrooms in a truly exceptional location. The two-hectare garden is a typical Mediterranean oasis, featuring trees native to the region such as platanes, buis plaqueminiers, micocouliers, lauriers, chênes blancs, and oliviers. The garden also boasts a natural spring and a small bamboo forest, adding to its enchanting ambiance. At the far end of the garden, there is a swimming area called the "bassin de baignade," which is actually a beautifully preserved ancient irrigation pond measuring 12 meters by 12 meters. Surrounding the swimming area, you'll find laurel trees and a maronnier providing essential shade. On the first floor, there is a summer living room that remains pleasantly cool even during the hottest months, complete with a billiard table. The second floor features a separate entrance and includes a reading room, a spacious dining room, and a "playroom" tower perfect for those who enjoy bridge, scrabble, and puzzles. All the bedrooms, located on the third floor, offer stunning views of the garden, while a loggia facing the courtyard provides a peaceful spot to admire the rooftops of Jonquières village.Reviews
