Description for B&B:

Situated on the picturesque banks of the Rhone River, our charming Dauphinoise residence dates back to 1680 and is a small castle in Vertrieu. The village boasts two other castles, the oldest of which dates back to the 13th century. Our house consists of two apartments and five guest rooms, including a suite. With a serene landscape offering breathtaking views of the Bugey mountains, our property is surrounded by a peaceful park spanning over 8000 square meters that directly overlooks the Rhone River.

After three years of meticulous work, we have transformed this pleasant and functional home into a tranquil haven, offering a range of accommodations to suit various preferences, from modern to stylish. With over 30 years of experience as a decorator and numerous journeys around the world, my partner and I have created a cozy ambiance that remains practical, using mostly French-made materials of exceptional quality that have already proven their worth. We have also provided our guests with our renowned high-end Home CASSIOPEE collection of linens, which can be found in boats, prestigious hotels, and homes, all manufactured in compliance with Oekotex standards.

In addition to the decor, many of the decorative objects, paintings, and sculptures in our property are available for purchase. This unique opportunity allows our guests to appreciate these pieces in a genuine context and envision them within their own interiors.

Our accommodations include an apartment measuring 27 square meters, complete with a 140-bed, kitchen, shower, toilet, and complimentary linens and products. We also provide a Nespresso machine with two capsules, as well as tea, a kettle, toaster, microwave, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and a flat-screen satellite TV.

Our "Past Present" room features a 140-bed with an additional mattress, shower, toilet, linens, and products, along with a flat-screen TV, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and a side view. The trendy mustard and white color scheme adds a touch of sophistication, and daily cleaning is included.

The "Romantic Room" offers a 160-bed with a mattress, shower, toilet, linens, and products, as well as a large flat-screen satellite TV, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and an entrance view. The room's trendy pink color scheme creates a romantic atmosphere, and daily cleaning is provided.

In the "Marine Room," guests can enjoy a 160-bed with a mattress, shower, toilet, linens, and products. A flat-screen satellite TV, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and a stunning view of the park and the Rhone River are also included. The room's trendy blue color scheme adds a touch of elegance, and daily cleaning is offered.

For guests staying in the "Racer Room," a 160-bed with a mattress, shower, toilet, linens, and products are provided. The room also features a flat-screen TV, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and an entrance view. The trendy red color scheme adds a vibrant touch, and daily cleaning is included.

Our "Following the Current" suite offers a 160-bed with an additional mattress, a shower, toilet, a living room equipped with a 160-sleeper bench for two people, a dressing room, linens, and products. Guests can also enjoy a Nespresso machine with two capsules, a large flat-screen satellite TV, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and the most breathtaking view of the park and the Rhone River. The suite's trendy gray and orange color scheme creates a modern ambiance, and daily cleaning is provided.

Geographically located in the heart of the Blue Valley, our property is surrounded by 834 kilometers of bike paths (Via Rhôna) and the vast plain of Ain, making it an ideal destination for holidays, relaxation, as well as work or training, with close proximity to major centers in France, including EDF.

The Alps are easily accessible within just one hour, offering a wealth of natural beauty along the way, thanks to the presence of the river and its surroundings. The abundant nature provides a constant sense of peace and tranquility.

In the surrounding area, there are parks for children to enjoy, offering activities such as tree climbing and amusement parks like Walibi. The region is also ideal for safe cycling and leisurely walks for beginners.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Caves of Balme, the medieval town of Pérouges, and the bird park of Villars-les-Dombes.

For those seeking an adrenaline rush, we offer thrilling activities such as rafting and jet skiing on the Rhone River.
