Welcome to our charming 3-star Gîte "On the Edge of the Cher," located in the heart of the historic center of SAINT AIGNAN and just 4 minutes away from the famous zoo of BEAUVAL. Whether you're looking for a short stay to visit the zoo or a few days to explore the beautiful castles of the Loire and its surroundings, our Gîte is the perfect accommodation for you.

With a surface area of 78 m2, our Gîte can comfortably accommodate up to 5 persons. We also provide an extra bed for a child and a cot upon request, free of charge.

The Gîte is thoughtfully designed and furnished for your comfort. Upon entering, you will find a charming lounge with a colonial red and grey decor, complete with a lounge area, TV, and DVD corner, as well as a dining table. The equipped kitchen includes an induction plate, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, Senseo coffee machine (with supplied pods), and kitchen utensils. Please note that only frying type cooking is not allowed.

The patio/laundry room is decorated and equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a separate toilet.

There are two independent rooms in the Gîte. The master bedroom is furnished with a single bed (140 x 190), while the secondary room is equipped with a bunk bed suitable for a child's room (90 x 190 + 140 x 190) or a maximum of 3 persons. The bathroom on the upper floor features a shower, hanging toilet, and a comfortable white satin washbasin.

Upon arrival, we require a deposit of €200 by check. Visitors tax is €0.88 per adult, with minors exempted.

We also offer additional options such as bed linen and bath towel rental/washing for €5 per person, as well as a €40 household package.

In addition to the comfortable amenities, our Gîte is located in the beautiful historic town of Saint Aignan. Explore the winding and cobbled streets, admire the old houses built in tufa stone, beard, and half-timbered architecture, and don't miss the 12th-century collegiate church and its crypt with pictorial frescoes.

During your stay, take a moment to enjoy the breathtaking view from the privately-owned Château de Saint Aignan and capture some memorable photos. You can also relax with a stroll near the Cher river, visit the "Saint Aignan Beach Islands," and join in the festivities, including swimming in the Cher to cool off, enjoying the local Guinguette, and playing games with your children.

All essential shops are conveniently located near the Gîte, including restaurants, a bakery next door (ideal for breakfast), a bank, tobacco shop, cinema, grocery store, and terrace.
