"The Metairie du Fraysse" is a charming and characterful cottage located in the beautiful region of Corrèze. This detached house, which has been restored in 2011, offers a comfortable and inviting space for your vacation.Situated in a tranquil hamlet in the heart of Correze, near the stunning Gorges of the Dordogne, this house exudes charm with its thick stone walls, inglenook fireplace, typical bassière, exposed beams, and slate roof.
The spacious living room, approximately 30m2, centers around a traditional inglenook fireplace equipped with a stove. Here, you can relax and enjoy entertainment on the big screen plasma TV, DVD player, and stereo system.
The kitchen, open to the living room, is fully equipped with modern amenities including an oven, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and kitchen utensils.
The house also features a laundry area for your convenience.
There are three bedrooms: one with a double bed, another with a double bed and a single bed (wrought iron sofa), and a small room with a single bed.
The bathroom is equipped with two basins and a bath with a tropical rain shower. There is also a separate toilet.
For families with babies, we provide all necessary equipment including a cot, highchair, bath, changing mat, potty, and bottle warmer.
Well-behaved pets are welcome with prior arrangement. Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the house, and we kindly ask guests to use the provided ashtrays.
Outside, you can enjoy the spacious and enclosed garden of 2000m², surrounded by a beautiful dry stone wall. The garden offers two lounges, a parasol, a barbecue, a playground, and badminton equipment.
Our house is the perfect destination for a relaxing vacation with your family or friends. Whether you prefer rest and relaxation or engaging in sports and exploring the area, there is something for everyone.
Nearby attractions include the Sédières Castle, Gimel waterfalls, Argentat-sur-Dordogne, the medieval discovery center in Egletons, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Tours de Merle, the Xaintrie medieval farm, the President Chirac museum in Sarran, and Tulle.
For those willing to venture further, there are additional attractions such as the Aubazine monastery canal, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Turenne, Padirac, Pompadour, Rocamadour, the Lascaux Cave, the Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes, Sarlat, Figeac, Salers, and Aurillac.
