The Lecomte family warmly welcomes you to their Provençal Bastide, a monastery dating back to the late 18th century. Situated just a few minutes away from the bustling center of Aix en Provence, this charming establishment offers four exquisitely adorned guest rooms. Each room is tastefully furnished with period and country-style furniture, adorned with Provençal fabrics, and equipped with luxurious bed linens.Having transformed from a mas to a bastide and later a vineyard, our 18th century bastide has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration over the past two years. Nestled amidst two acres of gardens, this tranquil and sun-kissed setting provides the perfect environment for ultimate relaxation. Guests can unwind by the large swimming pool, engage in friendly games of badminton, ping pong, or pétanque under the shade of parasol pine trees. The well-established garden boasts a variety of almond, olive, eucalyptus, sycamore, chestnut, and lime trees, while the delightful vegetable and herb gardens are a visual treat.
Start your day with a delectable gourmet breakfast prepared by Caroline, served each morning on the patio. Afterward, explore the enchanting charms of Aix en Provence and the magnificent countryside that has inspired countless renowned painters and poets.
The Bastide offers four beautifully appointed bedrooms, ranging from 25 to 35 square meters, each with its own unique character. Decorated in an antique country style, these rooms provide comfortable bedding adorned with local fabrics and luxurious linens. Additionally, each room features a cozy sitting area and a well-appointed shower room to ensure the utmost comfort for all guests. Stay connected with our local area network, offering internet access in all rooms via both Ethernet and WiFi. Please note that our Bastide is a non-smoking establishment.

If you are traveling from the North, West, or South on highways, once you reach the vicinity of Aix, take the A8 highway heading towards Nice. Take the first exit, which is exit #30 A (Aix - Pont de l'Arc, Luynes). At the first roundabout, turn right to enter RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Drive for approximately 2.3 km, and you will be close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts, with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto it. After driving for about 200m, you will see a gate straight ahead of you. Enter through that gate.
If you are coming from the East on the A8 highway, take the second exit after the toll, which is exit #30 (Aix - Pont de l'Arc). Make a U-turn at the first roundabout and head south, entering RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Drive for approximately 2.4 km, and you will be close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts, with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto it. After driving for about 200m, you will see a gate straight ahead of you. Enter through that gate.
If you are starting from Aix Downtown (Rotonde), take Avenue des Belges heading south from Rotonde. Then, immediately after the roundabout, continue onto Avenue Pierre Brossolette. After crossing over Highway A8, drive for 2.4 km on RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes, and you will be close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts, with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto it. After driving for about 200m, you will see a gate straight ahead of you.
If you are coming from Marignane Airport or the TGV Station, exit the airport and take route D9 towards "Gare TGV" and "Vitrolles." Ignore signs for the Aix Marseille Highway. Drive for approximately 10 km, and D9 will pass below the TGV station. From the TGV station, continue on route D9 towards Aix. Stay on D9 until you reach a traffic light (after passing a few roundabouts). At the traffic light, turn right onto RN8 (Avenue Fortune Ferrini) and drive for 2 km. Look for an unpaved path between two posts, with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto it. After driving for about 200m, you will see a gate straight ahead of you.
