Additionally, one of the ground-floor bedrooms/bathrooms is wheelchair accessible. The property also features a private garden and dining terrace with stunning views of the open countryside and meadows filled with beautiful buttercups. The terrace is equipped with patio furniture and a dining table, allowing guests to enjoy their meals outdoors.
Conveniently located in the picturesque village of St Germain les Belles, just 30 minutes south of the city of Limoges, this holiday house offers easy access to local shops, restaurants, historic buildings, and a family-friendly swimming lake with a lively bar and restaurant. The Limousin region is often referred to as the "French Lake District" and is renowned for its unspoiled natural landscapes. With numerous lakes and scenic country walks through rolling hills and forests, guests can truly experience the slow pace of rural French culture.
Previous guests have had a memorable and enjoyable stay at this superb cottage. The village offers the best of both worlds, with a charming bar and two bakeries, a general store, a post office, and a cash machine. However, when in the garden, it feels as though you are in the heart of the countryside. The cottage itself is extremely well-equipped, clean, and spacious, making it the best accommodation for a family holiday. Our village, St-Germain Les Belles, is situated in the Haute-Vienne department, approximately 4 hours south of Paris (425 km). The capital of Limousin, Limoges, is just a short 30-minute drive south (35 km). With convenient access, our village can be easily reached within 10 minutes from the A20 motorway (exit 42), which serves as the main highway connecting Paris to the southern region of France.
