Une excellente adresse pour un dépaysement total, dans une totale tranquillité! Une région magnifique, une maison splendide, des petits déjeuners copieux et excellents et un accueil chaleureux et sincère!!!

Les chambres d'hôtes Au Vieux Four à Pain méritent le détour! Un cadre magnifique, une maison splendide, confortable et très propre, des gens très sympathiques et accueillants et tout cela avec un tarif correct. Une très bonne adresse à transmettre!

Directions

To reach our destination via Grenoble, take the freeway/motorway towards Chambéry. Take the exit for Touvet and turn right towards Goncelin. Continue towards the village of Allevard. At the first roundabout on your way to Allevard, take the third exit towards Allevard. Once in Allevard, you will pass the blue casino on your right and the gendarmerie on your left. At the second roundabout, take the second exit towards La Chapelle du Bard (there will be a Citroën garage on your left). After 2 km, you will see the Couturier sawmill. Just past the sawmill, there is a fork in the road; bear right towards Beauvoir. After 200 meters, turn right towards Le Buisson (you will see a sign that says "Miel (honey) for sale"). At the top of the hill, you will come to a small square; cross the square and begin going down the hill on the other side. Our driveway is 50 meters past the square on your right.

If you choose to go via Chambéry, take the freeway towards Grenoble. Exit at Pontcharra. Upon exiting the freeway, turn right onto the municipality of Barraux, in "La Gache." Be cautious of frequent speed checks in this area. At the three-colored traffic light, turn right towards Pontcharra. Cross the Isère river and take the right at the roundabout towards Rochette. Cross the Z.I. (industrial zone) and take the second exit at the following roundabout towards La Rochette, Allevard. At the next roundabout, take the first exit to the right towards La Rochette, Allevard. At the fourth roundabout, take the first exit to the right to pass the barracks of fire brigades and continue for 12 km (Gorges de La Rochette). You will arrive at Détrier; at the roundabout, take the first exit to the right towards Allevard (Gorges d'Allevard). After 1.5 km (after the 2nd bridge on "Bréda" river), turn left towards La Chapelle du Bard. Continue up to the village and cross it in the direction of Allevard. After 1.5 km, at the Couturier sawmill, turn left towards Beauvoir. Drive for 200 meters and then turn right towards "Le Buisson" (there will be a sign that says "sale of honey"). You will arrive at the square of the hamlet and take a small street opposite it. In the second impasse on the right, you will have arrived.
