The house, built in the mid 1600s, exudes character and charm with its exposed oak beams, window seats, inglenook fireplace, and flagged floors. A cozy TV lounge with an open log fire creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The sitting room offers a wide variety of books and games, as well as a piano and other musical instruments for guests to enjoy. Our comfortable bedrooms boast period features, small en-suite bathrooms, and sympathetic furnishings. Unwind in our expansive riverside garden, a haven for wildlife where the kingfisher is a regular visitor. Private trout fishing is available, and children can enjoy a small play area complete with swing, trampoline, garden games, and boating (subject to river conditions). Monday to Thursday, indulge in evening meals made with fresh local produce, including traditional favorites like Roast Beef and Yorkshires, and Beryl's special bread and butter pudding. Our full English breakfast will provide you with the perfect start to your day. All meals are served around our large oak table, fostering a sense of camaraderie as you share the day's events with fellow guests.
