Additionally, the Gascony region's center, Auch, known as the birthplace of d'Artagnan, and Toulouse, the capital of South West France, are within a short drive. The medieval town of Carcassonne and the Atlantic coastal town of Biarritz are less than two hours away, while the Mediterranean city of Perpignan is a three-hour drive through the beautiful Languedoc region.
