This family house, hidden away from the road for over 50 years, has been lovingly transformed into a peaceful haven, while still maintaining the charm of its old stones and materials. Stephan and Julia warmly welcome guests and invite them to enjoy the various spaces available. Whether you wish to relax alone or with family, the house offers five elegant and refined rooms, including a double room with its own private bathroom. The spaces, decorated with simplicity, delicacy, and elegance, are sure to captivate you. From the spacious living room with two fireplaces, to the cozy game and reading area, the musical corner with a piano and other instruments, the dining rooms for both summer and winter, the internet room with wifi, the large terrace, the park, and soon the swimming pool (coming in summer 2007), there is no shortage of places to unwind. The estate also provides a shaded carpark and a covered garage.

La Bichonnière is conveniently located near numerous tourist attractions, such as Vézelay, the abbey of Pontigny, the castles of Guédélon, Saint Fargeau, and Ratilly. It is also close to a Park of Adventures, the Colette museum, Saint-Amand en Puisaye renowned for its potteries, and the park of Boutissaint with its fascinating wildlife. After exploring the surrounding area, you can indulge in water sports or bathing at the nearby Lake of Bourdon, or embark on a cyclo-rail adventure in the charming town of Toucy, known for its association with Pierre Larousse. Additionally, there are beautiful forest hikes, barge trips on the Yonne or the Burgundy canal, and cellar visits and village explorations in St Bris, Irancy, and Chablis, all within a 30-kilometer radius of your home.

la maison est superbe, les chambres très jolies et très confortables . Les propriétaires sont charmants et la propriétés extrêmement bien tenue. Une vraie bonne adresse.

La Bichonnière offre un confort raffiné et de bon gout. Rien n'est
laissé au hasard, les maitres de maison règnent sereinement sur tous les
