Description for B&B:

Welcome to our charming bed and breakfast, situated in a 16th century manor near the picturesque towns of Valognes, Cherbourg, and the historic D-day beaches. Nestled in the tranquil countryside, this manor farm offers a peaceful and serene environment for your stay. As you approach the property, you will be greeted by a beautiful poplar alley leading to the impressive manor and its authentic farm buildings, consisting of a cider-press and ancient arches.

Our bed and breakfast accommodations are located on the first and second floors, accessible via an enchanting spiral stone staircase. We offer five very comfortable rooms, each featuring queen size beds and even a four-poster bed. Additionally, we have a suite consisting of two rooms, allowing for a total capacity of up to 15 guests.

The central location of the manor enables easy access to numerous points of interest. Explore the captivating "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, embark on a day trip to the enchanting Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey, or pay homage to the history of the D-Day beaches and its monuments, such as Utah beach, Omaha beach, and Sainte Mére l'Eglise.

The rich history of our property is truly fascinating. While the main building dates back to the 16th century, its foundations hold an even older past. Significant renovations were undertaken during the 18th century, further enhancing its allure. The setting itself traces its roots back to the Gallo-Roman period, with Savigny being linked to the renowned town of Alauma. Additionally, the property is bordered by the ancient Roman causeway of Cosedia, adding to its historical significance.

We warmly invite you to experience the charm and history of our bed and breakfast in this captivating 16th century manor.
