Come and experience a warm and inviting stay at our 16th-century manor house, graciously hosted by Eric and Corinne. Nestled in the picturesque countryside near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the historic D-day beaches, our recently renovated 18th-century cottage is a charming retreat. Surrounded by lush gardens and fields, the cottage offers two apartments, accommodating 3 and 4 persons respectively, or the entire cottage for a group of 7.The central location of the Manor provides easy access to a multitude of fascinating attractions. Explore the captivating "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, venture to the nearby Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernesey, or immerse yourself in the rich history of the D-day beaches and its iconic monuments, such as Utah beach, Omaha beach, and Sainte Mére l'Eglise.
GITE N°1 is perfect for 3 persons, featuring a cozy ground floor living/dining room with comfortable sofas and a splendid large old fireplace (decorative only). Additionally, a bar with basic cooking facilities such as a microwave and fridge is available. On the first floor, a spacious room awaits with a queen size bed and a single bed. The bathroom is equipped with a relaxing bath-tub, wash-hand basin, and WC, all complemented by beautiful bamboo wood flooring.
For larger groups, GITE N°2 comfortably accommodates 4 persons. The ground floor boasts a generous living/dining room with cozy sofas, an impressive large old fireplace (decorative only), a TV, CD/DVD reader, and Internet access. A fully equipped kitchen awaits at the bar, complete with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Upstairs, two spacious rooms await, each furnished with a queen size bed and two single beds. The bathroom offers a refreshing shower, wash-hand basin, and WC, adorned with elegant bamboo wood flooring.
Enjoy the tranquility of our private garden, where a portion is reserved exclusively for cottage guests, while the remainder is shared with our delightful B&B guests. Unwind on the patio, surrounded by nature, and dine al fresco with our provided table and chairs.
