Description for B&B:
The story of Jeanne and accommodation dates back to 1972 and continues to this day. It started with lodges and later expanded to include guest rooms in 1999.The journey doesn't end there. In July 2011, we introduced a new lodging option called "La Maison Jean-Marie" which is designed to be accessible for individuals with reduced mobility. We are currently awaiting certification from "Tourism Handicap." Additionally, we will be converting a barn in the autumn to create a shelter with a capacity of 8 people, also fully accessible for those with reduced mobility.
La Maison Jean-Marie features a living-kitchen and a spacious bedroom on the ground floor, along with a bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and bath, and a separate toilet. These facilities are thoughtfully designed for individuals with reduced mobility. Upstairs, there is another bedroom for 3 people, complete with a shower room and separate toilet.
Leontine's House offers 2 double rooms, 2 family suites, a large dining room, a kitchen, and a living area. For larger groups, the entire house can be rented, allowing guests to enjoy all the amenities together. If you are a smaller group of 2, you can choose to stay in the "The Ponthou" or "Plouégat" rooms, located on the top floor. These rooms offer a stunning view of the small town of Le Ponthou, the Douron Valley, the viaduct, and the kiosk at the center of the square.
If you are traveling with children, you can opt for the "Hortensia" or "Poppy" bedroom suites, which consist of two separate bedrooms, one for the parents and one for the children.
Our accommodations are surrounded by a large park where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors. There are also outdoor tables available for your convenience, allowing you to spend peaceful moments in the sun or in the shade under the weeping willow tree.
Francis House can accommodate 2, 4, or 6 people and offers a south-west terrace for soaking up the sun. Recently renovated, the house features two bedrooms for both parents and children, a bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen, and a dining room with a fireplace.
La Maison de Marie is characterized by its vibrant colors and consists of a lounge, kitchen, large bedroom, and a bathroom.
The story of Jeanne and accommodation continues to evolve, providing a range of options to suit different needs and preferences.
